okay i shall make it a point to blog at least once a week. i have no more excuses now! CAs are over and i'm settling well into school (at least i was late for only 10 minutes for the first lecture today!). CAs went fine..maybe the profs were feeling all generous and kind to us poor souls who mugged through the wintery holidays. in any case, i have this renewed drive to listen in class and hopefully start studying again soon. ahhh! haven't seen so many people in ages, and the science canteen so crowded like forever. it's really good seeing everyone chatting, mingling and doing fine =D vic and i passed qiumei her -really- belated birthday and christmas present...a pair of havainnas sandals and when she first took off her shoes to try i was like "Oh no oh no it'd better fit!" (we bought the smallest size possible already) but thankfully she liked it. today was also the day everyone had to confirm their CGs (clinical groupings) for m3 and jeremy did a fantastic job of breaking down the groupings so far and chasing those who haven't submitted. i didn't know there are 10 YES TEN intra-m2 couples! amazing. there would probably be a lot more if we count intra-medicine couples. inbreeding is baddddd. haha. on a more serious note, i think i need to apologize to daniel and wenxian for not joining their CG. i know i've been quiet about this issue but i think it's better to stay as good friends. i really don't want anything to sour because of expectations or working relations next time. yup. i don't think it's anything too touchy lah.
oh yeah! nat was asking all of us if we wanna go to gold coast immediately after pros and i tentatively told her yes. this is bad! haha. i think i'll blow my travelling budget this year again but coming to think of it, it's like going to be our last time travelling in a loooong time. better buck up on tuitions and cutting costs!
outside school, i'm really grateful to queenstown cc for giving me a chance to contribute back to society. in CSC, we will continue to organize brisk-walking for the elderly and promote sports in the constituency while in YEC we're planning activities for the youths. i'm also tasked with joining a committee set up encompassing representatives from the 9 YECs in central singapore to organize a major event in town later this year. i'm really looking forward to it! there's also a cny dinner coming up and what i can't wait for is the garden party at istana on 5th feb which i've been nominated to attend! during our meeting (THE DAY BEFORE MY CAs, GASPS) all of us also got a nice cert giving us some recognition. hehe.

we went grovery shopping at kap yesterday before heading to jiawei's house to prepare lunch for nat's belated celebrations. ouyang was amazing, i take my hat off to him! he was the master chef and the pasta was as good as those served outside. me and sunder helped to bake the brownie but we added too much water =( thankfull it still ended up -quite- edible. hehe. we then played some ps2, and then cranium! cranium is a damn fun board game, and my team won! of course la, home ground advantage with jiawei in our team. after that we went to beauty world for dota and i owned with randomed syllabear. 18-4 i think. maelstrom, treads, linken's sphere and basher (if you get what i'm saying..) + like 5x wards to deal with lancer. =D
